Christmas

Hi all -- we will be in Canada over the Christmas holidays and wanted to start getting some ideas going for a family gathering.

Previous few years have been brunch at the church in Sherwood Park, but Dec 26th is a Sunday, so I expect the building will be unavailable that morning (or we're going to have to ramp it up a notch on the volume of food we provide!).

I would offer to host a party at our place, but the travel time makes that relatively impractical -- and there are no options for tobogganing within several hundred miles (wakeboarding we could do).

Option 1: play outdoors somewhere and meet at a home or restaurant for visiting & eating

Option 2: go see a show (ie: White Christmas at Festival place) together and visit after/before

Please make more suggestions. We are planning on skiing, so leaving this get together on Dec 26 works well for us, but we have some flexibility if other dates need to be considered.

Hopefully we'll see you all in Dec!

condo available this weekend

We will not be using the condo this long weekend.  It is open - first to let me know gets it.

Summer availability

I am busy planning our summer schedule in Canada (an escape from the humidity and heat of Houston!), and wondered if anyone knew they would not be using the condo during their designated time. We (Jill and 3 kids) would like to stay there if possible from July 16 - Aug 3, but I am not asking anyone to change their plans for Canmore -- only if you know you will not be there, I'd be happy to have first dibbs. (Jac & Vad -- you'll notice I conveniently avoided impairing your access during JG Millard time!)

Easier to log in

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but we can allow more than one person to post to this blog at a time.  I grabbed all the email addresses from the update list and gave them permission to post to this blog.  Now you don't need to remember the email address for this, you can just go to the site and post.

Let me know if you want to give posting permission to any of your other email addresses.

Condo available again

The condo is available again from right now through this weekend. I didn't hear back from anyone after the last email went out. I want to be sure everyone is getting this email.
